Get court approval

  1. Check the school option

Read the courtesy notice. Contact Traffic if school is missing or the response date has passed; late permission requires court review.

  2. Request school and arrange payment

Confirm the bail and school administrative amount for your case before paying.

  3. Get the assigned completion date

Ask the granting division for the actual deadline. The current rule addresses receipt of payment or an initial installment.

Common questions

Need financial relief and school?

Madera directs school-with-hardship requests to an arraignment for ability-to-pay consideration. Ask the Traffic Clerk about installments.

Does an automated eDelivery reply mean my filing was accepted?

No. Look for the later acceptance or rejection after clerk review. Follow Traffic's PDF and case-number instructions; contact the division if unresolved.

Need more time for school?

Request additional time from the division that granted school. Keep the existing deadline unless the court approves a change.
